Dave went to a conference today.

I went to the gym and the supermarket and then to the mall after school with the girls.

They went to school and then to orchestra/mall/swimming

School and work for people today. Very rainy again.

Esther had youth group this evening and Dave caught up with Warren.

lots of rain last night to the point where the pool was nearly overflowing

jane met up with lots of her friends today and then this evening drove back and forward to takapuna lots of times

the girls had violin after school and esther stayed for dinner with the family as the daughters’ go to esther’s school and have an evening choir practice (i think) so they dropped esther off there as a more convenient location and easier to coordinate with kezia’s swimming.  very nice of them

doggy training with pearl was cancelled today due to the weather

Hello. It was quite rainy today, although I managed to walk Pearl before it really started. I did a Zumba class for the first time – not sure if I really liked it, but good to try something new.

Esther had an early start. with a sectional orchestra practice. Her tennis match was cancelled this afternoon because of the wet weather.

Dave went to work and Kezia went to school without her lunch money ….

Dave was in the band at church today.

This afternoon while everyone else did chores, homework and admin, I went off for a posh high tea with my chums.

It was a great afternoon in a posh place and my lovely friends treated us as they had a voucher.

We watched the second half of the Victoria Wood documentary on tea this evening – very fitting.

Hello! We have had a great day. This morning we went to a sensory maze in the city. It was inside and had rooms full of mirrors and lights. Except for one room which was completely dark and you had to find your way through by feeling along the walls . We had been given special white gloves to wear.

This afternoon we went for a lovely walk in the Waitakeres with our friends the Eaverys from Twyford and Pearl the dog. It was Pearl’s longest ever walk and she managed very well.

The actual falls would probably have been more impressive if we had had more rain.

Then the Eaverys came back for Fish and Chips and Just Dance

i worked from home today as i had my flu jab this afternoon. i picked up some microphone cables and some hay fever spray on the way so it turned out well.

jane had her prayer thing then went to a friend’s birthday lunch.  this afternoon the girls had violins and kezia had swimming.  lots of driving about and lift coordinatings.

this evening we watched that documentary on tea and felt we were a little part of the british empire

gorgeous weather for my walk to work.  and a walk round the streets at lunchtime

jane went on a school trip with kezia, but i don’t know how that went as i only waved to jane as our cars passed near our house

esther had orchestra after school

and i had a music practice this evening and kezia had swimming (during which jane did some running)

busy lives

some excitement this afternoon as a boat seemed to set on fire next to the giant refuelling tankers!  Luckily they put it out quite quickly without anything blowing up!

jane had a chat with our friend alex about the franchise thing to understand what it would mean in practice.  he was very useful apparently.

the girls had school and seemed in good form this evening

not that i saw them for long as i went out to the North Shore Photographic Society which i’ve now decided to join as everyone was really friendly when i made an effort to speak to them!

esther had her parents evening today. every teacher said she was brilliant and a delight to teach!

kezia had swimming and managed to bash her face on the bottom of the pool.  hopefully no damage other than some scrapes on the inside of her lip from her braces

jane did various fitness things and loads of other things

and i had a long and busy day at work.
