We left out hotel in Banff St 7am and arrived at our hotel in Kamloops at 9.30pm. In between we’ve sat on a train marvelling at the scenery, going down to thr buffet car for breakfast and dinner, and generally sitting aboutml.
On arrival at Kamloops we were advised against leaving the hotel as smoke from local bush fires has enveloped the town and caused it to be dark an hour before sunset.
