Our flight was absolutely freezing. really bad fashion choice from me to wear my shorts and a t-shirt. luckily i’d brought a hoodie but i spent the entire flight wrapped in an Air New Zealand blanket like a slug. Jane had a wriggly kid next to her so didn’t get much sleep.
Our flight was early and getting through customs was a breeze so we ended up meeting Kezia with perfect timing in the new pick up area rather than her needing to pay for parking. result!
Kezia drove us back home where Jane was greeted by Gustav and Pearl. We had a quick cake then everyone was having a snooze (except me, i’m determined to stay up as long as a i can).
Today will be unpacking, supermarket shopping and i’m catching up with my friend Buzz this morning for a walk by the beach.
The holiday really has been a trip of a lifetime. Jane and I have seen so many amazing places and met so many fantastic people. I hope you’ve been enjoying us sharing the memories with you via the blog (still got a few videos on my to do list – hopefully get those sorted in the next couple of days)
