I went in to London for a last wander round today. Locations visited included Petticoat Lane, Brick Lane, Spitalfield Market, Oxford Circus, The West End, Trafalgar Square and Westminster.
There was a Canada Day celebration in Trafalgar Square which was good to get us in the mood for Canada (we’re flying there tomorrow). And on Whitehall there was a giant Japanese flag flying next to the British flag near Downing Street, so some real holiday connections.
I also had a wander round the National Portrait Gallery.
Meanwhile Jane and Julie spent the day chatting and had a wander at some point.
