Jane and I went in to London to meet my mum today. We had a lovely wander round the new area behind Kings Cross around the canal, then an excellent lunch in a restaurant next to that famous giant statue in St Pancras. All too soon we said goodbye to mum and popped her on to her train back to Huntingdon.
We then went for a wander through Lincoln Inn to Charging Cross via Covent garden, before getting the tube then train back to Gerrards Cross.
This evening we went out for a lovely dinner with Julie and Olivia. It turns out Olivia is moving in to a house at university directly opposite where i lived around 1991-1994 and will be able to see my old flat from her kitchen window!
