I had a lovely morning with my mum, listening to stories of family history and life. It was lovely to spend some time just the two of us.
Mum then packed me up with a picnic to eat on the train and i headed down to London. I checked in to my tiny hotel room, did a bit of unpacking, then walked the hour and half up to Marylebone station to meet Jane who was travelling from Julie’s house.
On the way i saw all sorts of things, including about a hundred (maybe more) cyclists (see pictures for more details – but not /all/ the details …). I’m doing a street photography workshop tomorrow so also took the opportunity to practice with my camera using a slightly different technique.
Jane and I got the taxi back to the hotel from the train station due to the amount of suitcases and stairs involved in the underground. Then we had dinner in a pub by the thames.
A fun day – with more body parts seen than i was expecting!
