Day 14 – Huntingdon (Dave)

A relaxing day for me today at mum’s house doing various errands round the house. Late morning we walked in to town to go the Oliver Cromwell museum. He was an interesting chap. We saw his actual giant hat he used to wear. Not bad to keep something like that in one piece for 400 years.

We had lunch in a wetherspoons pub in a converted post office and then wandered back home via the charity shops to see if we could find me a coat as it’s unseasonally cold here a the moment.

This afternoon was more errands/technology fixing and chatting and the day whizzed by. I was delighted to find mum’s first mobile phone, a Nokia 1610, from 1996ish.

Jane has been with Julie today and may do her own update.
