Kezia kindly drove us to the airport for our 11 hour flight. Plane was not too full so we had a spare seat next to us we could use. Flight uneventful.
When we arrived in Tokyo we went through the usual queues to get through security and biological controls. We were then collected by a nice old gentlemen who took us to a very posh taxi for the hour long journey to our hotel.
Hotel is nice. although it has a slightly soviet feel to it. Staff are really lovely and helpful though. We’re on the 33st floor and got to watch a giant projection of a godzilla fighting on the building opposite . We were too tired and hungry we ordered room service (chips and samdwiches), used the fancy toilet then promptly fell asleep.
