it turned out to be a windy day, but auckland managed to avoid the worst (or at least not as bad as those further south).
jane went to a gym to do some ‘spinning’ which is cycle machine work early and then we all drove off to red beach to drop kez off at a party
the party was three hours long giving the rest of us time for lunch (my pie and chips above) and a wander round orewa
we also drove down to manly beach whilst dodging really heavy rain showers and mad winds
after that we drove back home before kez went off to Flippa Ball training with their coach at an outdoor pool (luckily the weather has been calming down a bit). meanwhile esther and i went to get some bits of the church sound system.
and then this evening we watched some telly, read a bit of the paper, played wii dance and generally felt quite tired.

Pleased that you avoided the really bad weather. By the way, I have started listening to Rock FM from Auckland via the internet. Brilliant radio station and I have the Saturday night show on at the moment. They are playing November Rain by Guns n Roses. Have a good weekend.
nice work steve ! The other local rock station is http://www.hauraki.co.nz/
Thanks for the tip on “hauraki amped” Just tuned in and the first track I heard was “Londons Calling” by The Clash. Brilliant.
Excellent!
