i had a meeting this morning near esther’s school so walked the hour from my normal park and ride bus stop rather than taking the bus which was nice in the crisp sunny morning.  day full of meetings

jane was at home again off sick, but is feeling much better this evening and is back to school tomorrow

kezia had a test at school and swimming this evening

and esther had a fun day helping at the inter-school music competition.  she was a runner which involved bringing cups of tea and putting sandwiches out.

jane was off work today with a stinking cold.  she slept most of the day i think

i had a doctor’s appointment to see what next for my stomach pains.  i’ve got some new tablets to try out, a referral for some allergy tests and a referral back to the original gastro i saw a year ago to explore some other options.  so that’s lots to be getting on with which is good.  i’ve not been feeling too bad the last couple of days so that’s good.

esther had her youth group meeting this evening.  and kezia made a crossword which may have been slightly harder than intended due to some spelling errors (or it might be jane and i found the clues too cryptic!)

me work (document finally sent out), new camera (woop – but no time to fiddle), ferrying about

all exhausted and on edge of meltdown!

usual busy days all round.  esther and i left home at 6.45am to get her to her orchestra practice (which ended up with the orchestra just playing scales because all the music stands were in a mini-bus from the old people’s home concert on saturday!)

the early start wasn’t all wasted though as we saw this big seagull with a bouquet of flowers on a roundabout.  i’ll share a video with you sometime.

jane did a load of housework before school.  kezia had swimming at school which she thought was going to be easy, but the teacher knew her and a friend were good swimmers so made them do time trials in their own lane for the whole time!

after school esther had tennis

and i got the annual review brochure from the Telecom industry group i’m part of .  at the back they mention everyone who has been involved in different working parties, and i was delighted to see my entry was the longest and had the most ‘project leads’!  It’s not about quality, it’s about quantity as i tell my boss.

after church jane took esther to register for the next season of tennis, then dropped her off in takapuna

kezia and i went to buy a new backup drive for my computer then had a look round a couple of shops, including this outlet place which had high heals much to kez’s amusement

there was a foot on the floor at home thanks to pearl’s toy destruction (she only destroys her own things which is very good)

after fighting the computer for most of the day (which continued most of the evening too) i went to get esther from takapuna and saw this shop sign for ‘poo shape style and blow wave’

then this evening Tim came over for a dinner before heading over to his old church

and kezia has been up late doing home work.  and so has esther.  and jane.  and me with my computer mending, so they had somewhere to save their works!

kezia had a swimming competition most of the morning

esther had opticians and then did various domesticy things with jane

this afternoon esther went to the old people’s retirement homes opposite her school with her orchestra which went well

whilst esther was doing that kezia got a new swimming costume which she was keen to model for you

then this evening we watched a bit of australian border security

kezia had her grade 2 violin exam at lunchtime today.  it seemed to go well i think

then this evening she had a swimming competition.  jane was one of the stewards which sounded like a very stressful job so i’m glad she kindly did that rather than making me

whilst they were out at swimming, esther and i walked pearly round the cemetery.

then we all went to watch esther’s orchestra at her school in a gala concert.  it was really excellent

then this evening i had a chat with my mum and then my brother.

Hello. Busy day and very early start for girls and me. After school kez and I had nothing, Esther had youth and Dave had photo club.

i was at my desk at 7am and sat there working until 6pm when i visited the gastro man for my results. 

he said there’s nothing surgically wrong with me, i passed my blood tests with flying colours (my diet is doing something right!) but there’s nothing more he could do for me, so that’s that. doesn’t make the pain/nausea go away though!

jane had a good day at school and spent most of the time this evening driving esther and kezia around between violin and swimming

kezia had a maths exam at school.

that’s all i know as i’ve only just got back myself (and done a bit more work) now it’s bed time.
