jane and kezia were up early for kezia’s 5.30am swimming. most of the rest of the day was spent getting ready for the musical soiree this evening
the soiree went very well. i took a ton of pictures which i’ll try and sort through tomorrow sometime.

my word was pearly annoying overnight with her ridiculous cone head on. i think she had decided she was going to annoy us because we annoyed her, so she made all sorts of weird noises all night
because she was so committed to being annoying jane changed her in to a t-shirt which seems to have been just effective and more acceptable to the beast herself
quite an amazing sunrise this morning and clouds. work was busy for me with a couple of strange meetings
esther had her second music workshop and jane did lots of school work
kezia had swimming and jane walked pearl
pearl is wearing this so she doesn’t keep eating her scab and her leg will heal. she doesn’t like it.
i had a walk in the sun before work
and at lunch popped out to see Lawrence Arabia playing an outside concert in the glorious sunshine in town
jane and the girls were busy with various things musical and non musical
jane went to the dentist.

i went out to a committee meeting for the north shore photographic salon (a photo competition which sounds like a hair dressers)
no decent photos today so have a blue version of the invisible mug from earlier in the week
Hello, Jane here. Today Esther and I had our hair cut, Esther had a trombone lesson and Kezia had swimming.
A lack of communication meant that Pearl got 2 dinners this evening.

Jane is using my computer to skype her sister so i’m sending this from my phone.
The girls went for a walk with Bella this morning then took esther to a trombone mini workshop.
Pearl went to the vet to see about her bite and that seems ok although she got some antibiotics.
I had work then this evening turned on the underfloor heating as the temperature seems to have suddenly speed to thirteen degrees outside.
Jane also did lots of school work and kezia swam a long way at swimming.
poor (paw?) pearl got bitten by a dog today whilst out on a labrador club walk. here she is with her gash. luckily there was an ex-vet in the group who thought pearl would probably be ok without stitches and she seems not to be in pain this evening. jane and kezia went on the walk with the other dogs in Woodhill Forest this morning.
after church esther and i went to a cafe with some peeps from church, then esther went to her friend amy’s for the afternoon
kezia played on Sims most of the day and i did photo-y things.
jane is out at a fundraising cinema thing this evening
and in other sad news, Esther’s guinea pig pumpkin passed away this afternoon. we are now a guinea-pigless household.

we had a family trip to the auckland museum this morning to look at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition which has arrived in auckland for a while
kezia had her 5.30am swimming lesson so there was some tiredness about
after we’d been round the museum we headed over to takapuna for fish and chips on the beach
and then some clothes shopping (girls) and street photoing (me)
it was a public holiday today for ANZACs day. we were out of the house by 7.30am to drive to the start of the Auckland Coast to Coast Walkway
we started the walk just after 8 and finished just after 1pm.
i took my small camera on a long stick which we called the ‘selfie stick’, so most of the group photos are taken using that at various points on the walk
then this afternoon kezia and i went to see the Lego movie again as we loved it so much the first time. we had two spare tickets so went with our friends Skip and his son Kaleb
and esther went to Eden park to watch some rugby with her friend Amy and her dad James
tomorrow is a public holiday so today felt like a friday on a very busy but productive short week.
jane did school work all day. kezia went to her friends and esther stayed at home.
