what the boys did

andrew and i went to muriwai for a big stomping walk and a gander at the gannets.

then we had lunch in beesonline.  then coffee in helensville. then ice cream at charlie’s. then drove back down the coast

lots of driving, but lots of fun

Hi everyone, may I wish each and every one of you a Happy New Year from a rather grey and gloomy Pommie Land . It certainly looks as though yours will get off to a great start – what superb pictures of the gannets, and a stunning coastline, reminiscent of Cornwall methinks. Despite about half the population of UK being down with a lurgi of one sort or another, including yours truly (altogether now….), a high percentage (i.e. the cricket followers), are euphoric following England’s recent drubbing of Australia and retaining the Ashes. I’m intrigued to know whether your average Kiwi considers that a good or a bad thing. Seeing that guy’s teeshirt makes me suppose that they are pretty pleased about it too!
Enjoy your break and, when you’ve got a moment send us a bit of sunshine please!

Love to one and all. Keep smiling!
