we set off for hamilton at about 7am and had our breakfast on the way at a lovely cafe.  which had a historic washing machine

we then did a geocache which required us to climb in amongst these

after checking in to our lovely motel we drove in to hamilton where a cycle race was going on

hamilton’s most famous resident is richard o’brien who is of course famous for writing the rocky horror picture show

the shadow was just as impressive as the statue

Great photo`s from Hamilton Zoo. Love the one with the three birds on the perch with two together but the other one on his own.

thanks steve. the bird one would have been better as a video actually. that bird on his own on the left kept creeping closer to the two together. every step it moved, the other two would shuffle in unison to the right whilst still looking forward. they did it for ages and it was really funny.

Why’s the bird on the right only got one leg?

Thank you for the second photograph. It has made me all sentimental. Also like the photo of the statue with the shadow behind. You should take up photography for a living !!!! You certainly have a flair for it. Regards Steve
