Whatipu is pronounced ‘fatty poo’ which is funny isn’t it.  you can read more about Whatipu here Anyway, we went there for an explore this afternoon after Dave had taken the girls to violin and Jane had done some birthday present shopping. Whatipu is on the west coast and has black sand and v dangerous sea. Don’t go for a swim there kids.

We decided to go for a walk to see the Whatipu caves. It was an adventure because it was super muddy. Kez was a kiwi girl and removed her shoes.
