Ah how I remember the thrill of belly-board surfing – from age of aro 7 or 8 onwards. “Such fun!!”
And kayaking lower down: did you know Eileen has taken up kayaking, since she currently lives very near the Thames.
Flood signs!! Too much of that round here at the moment. Thames. Lodden and Emm brook all in full flood.
Loddon bridge roundabout sometimes impassable: Sindlesham mill road impassable, Sonning Bridge and lots of others.
Fortunately we are OK at a decent height above the flood levels (a few feet). Just getting around is difficult.

hi russell. i’ve been reading the UK newspapers and radio station websites looking at the pictures of berkshire in flood. quite dramatic. glad you are ok! kayaking could be a useful method of transport during the floods perhaps!
