jane and kezia went off early for a run/swim
when she got back jane did lots of mowing and gardening (trampoline deconstructed to reduce the chance of it blowing away in the high winds buffeting (is that the right word) new zealand at the moment)
during the morning (when i was working out how to do some things on the church mixing desk) we took delivery of a new bed for kezia, and our multi-drawed tall boy
we spent a bit of time constructing and manoeuvring the tall boy (we found the instructions tucked in the back of one of the drawers, but only once we’d put it together slightly wrong, but we were able to sort that out. the sun blocks were only on there for a minute, but that was when i took the picture
i got measured up for a hire dinner suit for later this month and then we all went to a pet shop to look at dog houses and all that paraphernalia
then we went to Denny’s for lunch. i had a burger which isn’t on my healthy food list, but i’ve had a good week of diet so thought that would be ok
then we went bowling. our usual bowling place has closed down as it’s reopening somewhere else all nice and fresh.
so we went to another one which was definitely on its last legs too
they’d given up trying to keep the floors clean so you had to wear your own shoes. glad i didn’t wear my jandals. and all the balls were damaged and the pins kept falling over even before you threw the ball.
but that was all part of the fun and we had a great time
so, quite a packed day!
