Today was very exciting because we got a call from the pet shop to say that they had some guinea pigs in for us. We were able to track the parcel of the hutch and discovered it was on it’s way. So of we went to get the guineas and brought them home before the hutch was made!!!
As you can see from the photo Dave and Kezia made an excellent job of assembling it and the 3 new members of the family now have luxury accommodation. More photos will follow I’m sure.
In other news I mowed the lawn and did the edges with my new machine again and Dave went to work.

That was a quick bit of hutch construction-work! I look forward to finding out what you decide to name them!
Alan – it was a flat pack thing so it was just a matter of putting all 4 side together, then some inside bits to make the room and then some stuff to do with the lid holder. My little assistant is good at inspecting the instructions and providing the right bits at the right time.
that said, it’s probably better constructed than most NZ homes!
