here’s our tree all done up nice and that by the ladies of the house. i forgot to get a photo in the day, so this is at 9.15pm where there’s still some light left in the sky (it being the longest day).
and in other news … we’ve been having strawberries a lot recently. i didn’t really bother with them in the UK but here, like so many fruits and vegetables, they seem to be supercharged with tastiness. and rather large

this evening kezia and i went to the local shopping maul (sic) to get some xmas presents for jane and esther, but didn’t do too well. but we did see this nice trolley shadow

Surely black trousers (and beads) are a mistake in the summer – they get very hot in the sun.
it’s fine in the mall where they live as it’s nicely air conditioned. however, you are corret about the hotness of black clothing – i’ve only realy got black t-shirts …
