and this was a very rare to see kokako

Superb bird photos Dave – well done! Regret to say I couldn’t identify a single one of them! Are they particularly unfazed by humans, or do you have a very good telephoto lens?

thanks alan. a little bit of both. the island is predator free so they aren’t too bothered about people. and my Graham Norton zoom lens is quite handy, especially coupled with my new camera which has better image quality allowing for more cropping in 🙂
