today we got a speed boost to our broadband and now have a high speed connection. i’m not allowed to tell you much about it as it’s a secret trial, but it does seem quite quick. I only had an hour to play with it after the people went, and am still working out how to get our printers etc working. But other wise all is good
the highlight of my day was riding in a Chorus van up to the street cabinet and watching my fibre get plugged in.
jane got some more last minute supply teaching so i picked up the girls from school as it’s been bucketing it down with rain all day.
and our friend john came round to put some shelves in our cupboard too so that’s very good.
then this evening thomas and edmund came round for a meal and a geographically based game. esther won.

Don’t tell Stephen Fry about your high speed internets, he will be quite jealous!!
The broadband engineers unit is so tidy with no wires exposed which is a bit different to the BT units in the UK which normally have thousands of wires all over the place.
By the way Dave, thanks for the tip on Hauraki Amped. I have listened every day since your recommendation and they play all my favourite bands. The sound quality is amazing.
glad you enjoy Hauraki Amped. I’m a 95bfm listener myself: http://95bfm.co.nz/ although i regularly flip between that and kiwifm http://www.kiwifm.co.nz/
