eugene our friend from wellington is up in auckland for a training course so we met for breakfast which was good.
jane didn’t mention yesterday that we had a team morning tea yesterday to welcome a new member to our team. but the organiser forgot to invite the new chap and he was busy. so we had our welcome morning tea without him. excellent.
then today we went to a leaving do for a colleague who is, er, leaving. the event was scheduled for our office kitchen and there were 30 people there and we ate cake (well, i didn’t as i’ve given it up for lent along with choco and fizzy drinks). but the leaving chap was in wellington so he had to listen to us having fun at his expense down the phone!!!
jane had her last training work day at church today and now’s she the official ‘go to girl’ for church creative ministries stuff. that’s exciting too.
this evening she’s had a meeting about netball at school (i think) and i’ve bought a ticket to see Radiohead when they come to Auckland next November.
photos are making a brief reappearance as the hard drive seems to be working again. but i’ll take it along to the shop to be cloned tomorrow just in case.

Hope you enjoy Radiohead. Just a shame you have to wait until November. My favourite band Yes are also at the Vector Arena in Auckland on the 1st April but it is along way to go for a concert !!!!!
thanks steve. i am looking forward to it. Yes, it’s a long way to Yes, but we can offer you free accommodation and a lift to the local bus stop if you cover the air fares and concert tickets!
Many thanks for the offer !!!! It is quite ironic that you are seeing Radiohead as they are probably the biggest band to come out of this area as they come from Abingdon.
Just been watching the cricket from Napier on Sky and the cameras showed the surrounding area which looks beautiful. Not sure if you have been there but they did say it was one of the nicest towns on the North Island.
