we had a frost this morning which made for an icy windscreen
otherwise a day of meetings for me and lunch with buzz at our usual food court.
this evening warren came round for a coffee whilst esther and jane went to esther’s school to watch the school play.
jane is still thinking how her life might be when she’s not working after xmas.

when you say ‘not working’ you presumably mean ‘not working outside the home in a paid capacity’?

Interesting you had a frost. We are experiencing some wonderful autumnal weather at the moment and the next few days are going to be glorious. Lyndsey and I went to Kew Gardens yesterday and we could not believe how warm it was.
that does seem to be the modern pattern in the UK doesn’t it? Gorgeous heatwaves either side of summer, but not during the summer itself!
