i ended up working from home today as i got a weird cold thing which had gone by mid afternoon but i did manage to catch up with my chum buzz
everyone else had school etc
jane is at some formal dinner thing at school as is dressed in an egyptian theme’d costume. she did send us a photo but i’m not sure if i’m allowed to post it so won’t just in case
the girls had one of their last orchestra rehearsals after school
and i had various phone calls about the corporate photo job i’m going tomorrow.

i went for a walk at lunchtime and ended up at the top of a high carpark
and i found a steep road
the girls got their mock exam results back and both did well
a pretty bird died in our garden so i put it in the bin

this afternoon i went for a walk at long bay and jane went to the gym
esther went to watch an opera at the university at the place she hopes to study next year as she knew someone who was in the performance
kezia and esther did homework
these people ignored the sign which said don’t burn wood you find in the park
and pearl doesn’t understand about the clocks changing so had to wait an extra hour for her dinner. she wasn’t impressed
jane and i had our hair done (different styles). esther and i went out for a long practice drive. kezia came back from her sleep over.
the four of us went out for lunch to celebrate the girls’ various successes
fay went to waiheke for the day with a chum
the weather has been quite nice today (finally) and this was an exciting death trap at the cafe thanks to an electricty cable pulled tight across the top of a stair case!
and of course, Jane, Esther and i went to vote in the general election. exciting times.

i photoed one of the church kids groups this morning so i edited those photos and also went for a walk at long bay
jane walked pearl and esther at long bay first thing and she went to the gym this afternoon.

fay went to rangitoto and was then going to watch some rugby
in the afternoon jane and i went out to watch some film about queen victoria. we arrived a bit early to an empty cinema but it soon filled up.
jane also got a new iron
