jane’s out to book club tonight

and about to head out to see Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Ghostwave

all had school/work.  i popped out at lunch to get a photo printed as i’m thinking of putting an actual print in to the assessment next week

funny piece of rainbow in the sky this morning

after school there was violin x 2, tennis and swimming coordination.

i picked up pearl from doggy day care and she didn’t want to go in my car.  but had to.  next time i’ll park further away from the open entrance to the day care place so the staff don’t have to watch me struggling to get her in to my car!

i saw this bread on the floor this morning.  this being new zealand there was also a kiwi fruit nearby.  can you spot it

that’s just a playing card.  no kiwis in this one.

school for all.  work for me.  lunch with buzz.

esther found out she got another ‘excellent’ in her exams. 

esther did a web based career test this evening and it came out that she should be a boarder security guard.  which is already her dream job, so that’s good.

kezia decided she wanted to go in the pool before church this morning, which she did.  the pool is now officially open for the summer season!

after church we went to greenhithe to look at the open gardens.

there were some amazing gardens as usual and it was nice to have jane with us for a weekend activity!

i had the easy day – just sitting at a conference learning about church sound stuff

meanwhile jane was up early for kezia swimming/pearl walking

then went to the mall to get esther a dress and a hair cut whilst kezia and her friend also wandered around

this afternoon she took the girls and various friends to frisby golf in the baking afternoon sun

foggy morning which had mostly lifted by the time i got in to work.

my old colleague anna came in to show off her new baby to the lawyers, and officially be made redundant.

i had a busy day at work then went to a church sound conference in the evening.  there’s a full day of it tomorrow too

the girls were busy but i’ve not really seen anyone having got back late this evening.  jane’s school laptop is up and running, and they watched some family telly but otherwise i don’t know too much i’m afraid

that’s all i’ve got to tell you really.  sorry about that.

that russian superyacht that looks like a submarine has been parked up in the wharf whilst it’s being repaired.  it’s even got a nice sign now

it’s massive as can be seen by the size compared to the little ferry

anyway, i had a day of back to back meetings on different things which made for a confusing day

girls had school.  esther is getting her results from her exams slowly and they seem to have gone really we;

jane’s out this evening with debbie and her mum.

i put two images in to the photo club this evening.  the theme was ‘negative space’, and i got honours for both of them!

the picture of the doll above also won best projected image for the evening too.  woot!

busy day at work for me.  and busy days at school for everyone else.

jane got a new work laptop and christmas has arrived in auckland

i met up with my friend phil this afternoon with ken from the church office to see how he’s getting on

so that’s that.

here’s my movember moustache as hinted at yesterday.  i saw a digger on the way to work this morning.  that was exciting

really busy day though with some interesting things.  including a computer update giving me windows 7 and office 2013.  i really enjoyed the disorientating feeling of not quite knowing what was going on whilst trying to read emails etc today

the girls had good days at school.  esther had her last exam which was a bit trickier than the others.

kezia had school and swimming.  both girls had violin.  esther had tennis.

jane had school and did lots of transporting after school.

esther found out she got in to the big band this evening

whilst she was having her practice i went down to takapuna beach with my tripod to take some long exposure pictures

i’ve still got plenty to learn but these didn’t come out too bad
