kezia had dentist this morning and jane had a german friend over this afternoon. i had work then our work party (i only stayed for a bit as i can only really drink water when out). kez had swimming then this evening we watched the new miss marple.

my day started with our last wednesday morning church men’s coffee group which was a bit of a reunion
then after a few meetings we got together with old colleagues for a reunion lunch. that was really great – even though a few of us are now on opposite sides various regulatory arguments!
anna brought along hunter her new baby, so he was passed around a bit (but not too much)
then this afternoon i met up with Phil and a friend of his, and ken from church. that was good fun too.
jane went to the dentist this morning then the rest of the day they’ve spend achieving things.
esther went to the cinema with chums this afternoon and jane went to the gym, then this evening we’ve watched the choir.
and here’s me sitting at the back seats at the top of a double decker bus. exciting!
another day of shopping for the girls and work for me.

esther had her violin exam this morning, then the girls spent the rest of the day shopping by the sounds of it
i had a busy day at work then came home. this evening the girls have been in the pool whilst jane and i watched some telly
church this morning – i was on sound.
then a snooze for me in the afternoon whilst jane went to debbie’s birthday party which was a posh high tea in auckland
this evening it was the glow party with the irvines’ and then burger king on the way home
the day started with kezia’s early swimming and then we all went to the mall to do some xmas shopping and get me some new glasses
this afternoon kezia has been at a friends party which involved horse riding
and the rest of us went to the hardware shop, watched some telly and practiced for violin exams
and of course had a swim in the pool
so, all the ladies are now officially on holiday until end of January
i worked from home today as jane had her last day which seemed to mostly be having food with her colleagues.
the girls walked up to the local yoghurt bar and came back in the morning, then went in the pool this afternoon
esther had violin this afternoon
and kezia had swimming this evening
so i went for a walk round and about whilst she was swimming and took a few pictures
and the prize for best parking of the days goes to this vehicle which pulled over on a roundabout (causing much confusion for those following it) so the people could go in to a nearby bar
still, when you drive a car as subtle as this you might as well park it where you can keep an eye on it
gorgeous day today. quay street was looking very christmassy
another of my projects got in to the papers today. this is the one i’ve been leading so is nice to finally get done (well part of it, still a load more to do). here’s an article in the paper and here’s what the Minister had to say
the girls were off school so went to help at the church office today and seemed to have had a good day
kezia had a swimming competition this evening
and esther and i went to see Hobbit 2 at a cinema fundraiser
one of my colleagues wore stockings to work for some reason
jane had a nice day at school doing not much.
esther and i watched some doctor who on the telly before going out to the cinema. when we were in takapuna on the way to the cinema we saw a dalek. and of course one of the old doctor whos appears in the film.
small world. which incidentally appears to be what the circles and connectors are in the dalek (small worlds after all)
esther spent the day at home watching border security. she emailed me times throughout the day to tell me about the exciting episodes she was watching
kezia had a half day at school and is now on holiday too
jane had a good last day of teaching at school and also had a nice day. she’s still working until friday
i had a busy day at work and have been feeling a bit painful which is a shame
esther’s gone out to her youth group this evening
esther had her prize giving day today.
she played in the orchestra and picked up three distinctions.
She also hears she’s in all four of the extension classes next year. and she was at home this afternoon as school has now finished for her
kezia had a day of nothing at school (apparently) and both girls had violin after school. kezia’s getting on really well according to her teacher
then this evening there was swimming for kezia
