i can't believe fairgrounds are still allowed to give goldfish as prizes.  they are a complete nightmare for all involved, especially the fish.

i saw quite a few children wandering round with small bags of goldfish. proudly presenting them to their parents, who then had to purchase a goldfish bowl and food at inflated prices from the stall where they'd 'luckily' won them.
