identify the dead nature-thing
i thought this was a squirrel, but jane thinks a rat. there was a red kite flying above our heads when we found this and i was hoping for some swooping action. but none happened whilst we were there.
can you help me identify the dead thing to settle this marital score ?
I would say, 'squirrel' due to the furry (or at least hairy) tail, but I'm no expert. My wife is a city-girl who hates to see dead things on country-walks, so we're unlikely to ever have this particular type of argument. "Look, it's a dead squirrel", "Yuck, can we go now?"
