it's interesting that the only plural on this wobbly written sign are beans.

Again I have to say we are not thinking .
Our Trading Standards friends would want to check if there was more than one item on the plate if a plural is used , hence the use of the singular noun
What do you expect for £3.99 plus toast ,tea or coffee ?
