this was my first mince pie of xmas 2006. i declared to the chef that "i normally find mince pies quite discusting, but these are ok".

jane, my lovely wife, who was sitting next to me, said "what are you saying about the mince pies i make?". oooops.

they looked like volauvents (i'm sure i didn't spell that correctly)
