Now since you are asking for pedantry, NO, it is not a proper sentence, as it should not end with 'of'.
Properly it should be:
'Beetee sent me this photo and asked me to ask you of what you think it is'.
What do the rules say ( am I correct in thinking it is Rule 43(C) ?) about how long we are allowed to hold readers in suspense ?
Perhaps we should ask from where it came ?
