jane leads worship at our church and agreed to do the review, so here it is !

Hello. Jane here (but typed by Mr Funkypancake so spelling mistakes are his)

Worship God Live is a well put together mix of songs moving from up tempo praise to more reflective slower songs (“Thank you for the Cross” type songs) and then ends more upbeat again with songs about commitment and renewal. There's reworkings of 2 traditional hymns on the CD which was a pleasant surprise.

Musically, there's a good variation of guitary songs and ones which use other instruments. The CD is recorded live and has a live feel with great sound quality. I found myself singing one of the tunes later which is always a good sign !

I knew of Mark Altrogge and Bob Kauflin before and this CD introduced me to Pat Sczebel too.

It's great that you can download sheet music and we will probably use some of the songs in our church (small british anglican church).

Definitely worth a listen for personal stuff or searching for new stuff for your church. It's also a good introduction to Sovereign grace music.

Yay. We should definitely use some of those songs. My fave is "Grace Unmeasured".
