And a very interesting thing at that.. what does it look like on its other side?
we didn't pick it up, so we'll never know !
(i was thinking it might be a mini-landmine put there by the national trust to stop people wandering on the grass).
Hmm.. possibly.. but I was thinking it might be one of those little cup things you put under furniture legs to protect the floor, this way up it would be more likely to be protecting the grass from the air, or the air from the grass?
Is it the head of a collapsable sprinkler?
