here is an old tree propped up with metal sticks. how demeaning for this old tree to have to rely on a non-wooden metal post to stay upright.
This kind of reminds me of those wisened old people who need to rely on wooden canes to stay upright.
The 'Robin Hood' oak tree in Sherwood Forest is propped up in a similar manner. I feel sorry for the poor trees, they look quite invalided.
