Today has been the day of the box. The two packers from Sterling have done Stirling work and we now have an entire ground floor and about half of the upstairs boxed up.
The day started early with me chiselling a hole in a work bench (deliberately) so our future tenants (if we ever get any) can get their tumble drier plug to the socket without removing the plug. I took the short cut (literally) and just chopped the wire off our’s (based on the assumption i’m going to have to replace it with a New Zealand plug anyway).
So far it’s Kezia who has suffered most at the hands of the enthusiastic packers, having had her pyjamas packed which she only discovered whilst getting ready for bed. d’oh !
Our house looks mostly like this. The labels on the boxes sum up our life quite nicely.
