esther has her first public performance of her musical this evening

no photos as it was raining this morning, sorry

girls had school, esther then had a dress rehearsal for the school musical

kezia had some music rehearsal after school

i spent a day planting trees, cutting down gorse and chopping down a tangled mess of a tree in the creek as part of my volunteer day with a couple of colleagues.  i’ve now very achy

the joke of the day was how i managed to remain so clean while everyone else was covered in mud!

the four of us went out for a breakfast for jane’s birthday this morning then a quick stroll round the viaduct

rest of the day was school prep/admin

jane and i went round to janine and james’ house late afternoon to hear about their UK trip and see some of their photos of London, Oxford, Bath and Twyford !

this evening it’s been more admin and jane has been out to a church meeting

jane’s birthday day so she spent most of the day doing school work although she did manage to meet up with chums in the morning

esther and kezia were both busy with different things so i took Andrew and Katie on a tour of the north of auckland

we dodged the wild weather (mostly) and took in Helensville, Matakana, Morris and James pottery, Charlie’s ice cream and the Parry Kauri museum tree.

late afternoon we were all back at home and jane opened her birthday presents and ate the amazing Katie/Kezia cake

after that there was some final packing up then we drove to the airport to despatch Andrew and Katie

esther had her show band practice all day and saw a friend in the evening

kezia had a friend over and went for a three hour walk

katie and andrew went to devonport and then wenderholme, dodging the wild weather

jane did school preparations

i had work

jane, andrew and i went to see/photo sigur ros in the evening at the arena.

katie and kezia made a secret cake while we were out

i worked from home today

jane did millions of school works and did some sorting of her school class room with the help of katie

kezia did school work all day

esther had her show band rehearsal all day

this evening jane and katie are going to the airport to pick up andrew

jane did school marking/preparations which is especially slow as she’s marking videos

kezia and katie went to the cinema then watched netflix

esther had a show band rehearsal

kezia is going out for a dinner with her youth group this evening and jane has her book club

i had a meeting with the guy who runs the photo course company this afternoon

jane did lots of school work

i went to work

esther did school revision and then had her school play band rehearsal.  she’s out tonight at a friend’s birthday party in town

kezia and katie went in to town and played mini golf

esther had a birthday breakfast with her friends this morning then had a music rehearsal for the school play all afternoon

katie and kezia went to esther’s breakfast then went to the mall. this evening they cooked an excellent dinner

i’m not sure what jane did, but pearl is back

i had work
