really hot and humid here at the moment. not much (any) sun though.

kezia and i went shopping this morning for some last minute presents that kezia needed.  jane and esther walked pearl whilst we were out

then we spent most of the afternoon sitting inside watching junior apprentice

this evening we had a church service where jane was singing and i was doing sound (i put the volume up a bit louder than usual, not sure if anyone noticed)

we managed to trip the power circuits a couple of times as people tried to switch on the aircon

then this evening we’ve been watching some more telly.   excellent.

church this morning with jane singing some lovely songs and me on sound.  friends back after church for lunch, dog walking, telly watching, skyping etc.

Early start for me. In the supermarket at 6.15am!

Then skyping the cousins. Then Kez and I headed into the city as she would like a very specific sort of swim suit for Christmas. Meanwhile Dave and Esther went to the mall.

Lovely dog walk with Esther and Pearl while Dave mowed the lawn. Thank you husband.

This avo the girls made mince pies. Esther made Dave some special ones with gluten free flour.Kezia made the usual kind and they were all delicious!

This evening we went for dinner at Tim and Helen’s house. Very nice.

kezia put on some fancy sun tan cream for swimming.  i think she might have overdone it

esther and i went to the driving range whilst kezia had her swimming lesson today.  we were rubbish, but it was good fun

it was my last day at work for three weeks as the office shuts down over the summer holidays.  people headed off home around lunchtime so that was good

jane went out with her prayer group chums for lunch and that was good

i had a nice walk to work this morning where i saw lots of christmas decorations and shop window displays

this evening we skyped my mum whilst i cooked steak and chips. jane is out babysitting

Hello. Dave went to work and the girls and I had a day at home. Until 10 was spent in a tidying frenzy and then the girl had a friend each round and spent the day in the pool  and cuddling dogs and guinea pigs. I did the ironing.

it was my office party this evening.  fancy dress. i wore lots of ties. 

some of my colleagues went as a tic tac toe game

pearl had a nice day at doggy day care. 

this horrendous boat was in the harbour.

i met tim for a coffee this morning

and the girls put up some decorations and did lots of shopping

Today was Kezia’s last day at primary school. Eeek.

I had breakfast out for Debbie’s birthday and then went to the church office. Then had to drag the girls back there this afternoon. Extra Christmas services and trying to not have to go in for Jan.

Weather hot an muggy today. This evening we went to a friends and family night at our big local diy store and took advantage of cost prices.

We have started to put our Christmas decs up.

kezia had her prize giving this evening and got an academic achievement award.  she’s done us proud!

during the day jane and esther did a load of shopping and i went to see my dietician who has given me a very strict diet to stick to for the next 6-8 weeks.  The diet is a low FODMAP one (mentioned in that prestigious factual journal the daily mail no less) in case you are interested

church this morning.  i was playing.  jane was singing.  we blew the electrics, but got them going again.

kezia spotted this massive huhu beetle on a wall.  it’s was about 5 cm long.  masssssive. (we didn’t see any beetles grubs so didn’t have to consider eating them)

this afternoon kezia went to a fun water based party to fairwell her flippa ball team

whilst kezia was at her party, esther and i were dragged round the streets by pearl

and this evening we’ve been at the gluestick  glowstick party

our friends from Twyford were also there.
