stupidly busy day at work today where i was so busy i didn’t realise i hadn’t eaten my lunch until i left the office.
everyone had school
esther had her tennis lesson this evening and she was the only player who turned up so had a nice private lesson
i managed to get lost driving to pick esther up from tennis which wasn’t very clever as it’s not very far away
jane had a music practice tonight and kezia is getting ready for school camp
School for all and various musical things for the girls
I photoed Violent Femmes for Cheese On Toast with a last minute request to record some video as well for the record label. That took a minute out of my alloted three short songs so made things a little more exciting.

extremely hot and humid and wet today. i was at my desk at 6.45am to get some documents written (which i managed to do) and avoid all the back to university students (March is known as mad March on the buses)
girls had school and musical things
i met up with Andrew Cheese On Toast for lunch which was good, but meant venturing out in the torrential rain.

esther had to go in to town to meet some chums and go to Phantom of the Opera so i drover her in to town
i used it as an excuse to go to a little community festival where one of my favourite musicians to photograph was playing
i was brave and asked him to pose in front of a black tent with his band mate. i also did the same with Tami Neilson who is one of New Zealand’s best known country singers i think
esther really enjoyed the theatre
jane and kezia spent the day doing school work

jane was also at home as school had the day off to allow all the kids to recover from their school camps
i met up with an old colleague from Easynet who is visiting NZ for a conference this afternoon which was good
esther had tennis this evening but didn’t win

i worked from home
kezia watched telly all day with her leg in the air. she’s not going to school tomorrow either as it’s sports day
jane came back from camp. she had a great time
esther had tennis this evening so jane and i took pearl for a walk at the beach. at the beach were loads of birds
pretty rubbish day – pool failed its council inspection and had to pick up kezia from school to take her to the doctor as she has an infection in her foot and needs to stay home for the rest of the week. And we failed to find the pizza scheduled for this evening’s meal and i lost my margarine during the day but esther found it this evening in the plate cupboard.
i think i need my wife back!

i cooked dinner this evening and spectacularly the potatoes were ready 45 minutes earlier than the sausages
i drove the girls to school this morning and then picked them up again this evening. rest of the day was working from home.
i took pearl for a walk this evening as sun was setting over the dustbins.
