work for me. one of my colleagues left to work for a milk company so i made up some facts for her leaving card
kezia went to her friend susie’s house for the day and played cluedo
not sure what esther did
jane had a nice day but didn’t do any work and has got a personal trainer here this evening
i’m going out photoing tonight
work for me today
esther went in to auckland with a friend and did lots of fun things including watching people in the casino for ages
kezia hung out with her friend around and about
jane did some shopping
dolphin and whale watching cruise today
esther got sea sick but otherwise all was good!
no whales unfortunately
still, nice to see auckland from a few different angles
and we nearly got up as far as great barrier island where we had our holiday a few months ago

i played bass at church this morning
we all went out at lunchtime for a charity sausage sizzle which a friend was running. on the way we looked round a house which has been built near our house and it was really nice (though very overlooked).
the rest of the day was spent marking (jane) and gogglebox watching (esther and jane), general fiddling about (kezia) and exhibition/presentation/tax stuff (dave)
esther had drumming practice this morning
kezia and jane went shopping and then this afternoon we all went in to auckland
we started off with a visit to the auckland art gallery
then we went to a puzzle game where we were locked in a room for 60 minutes and had to solve lots of clues to get keys and codes to unlock doors and eventually escape. which we did.
jane and i went for a big walk at Piha today with pearl the dog
the girls had school and are now on holiday
another online music magazine asked if they could show my pictures i took on wednesday night and the venue i was shooting for were happy for me to share them. so i’m going to do some photoing for Under The Radar going forward (as well as the venue). so that’s exciting!
i had the day off work today so jane and i went on the okura bush walk
we left a car at each end and did what we thought was going to be a three hour walk in two hours
esther had a dress rehearsal for her korean evening.
and i had a band practice for the church band on sunday. there are lots of loud bass parts
lunch stop next to a little stone house
at one point on our walk the pathway dropped down on to the beach but because the tide was in we had to wade through the sea which was coming in, and came up to our knees!

school for the girls, work for me. jane did her usually holiday fun and some school works
one of the venues i’ve photoed at previously was happy for me to be an occasional house photographer for them which means they give me a photo pass and i give them pictures.
so i went to see a band there last night. i really like that venue when it’s not too busy and last night was one of those nights. unfortunately the stage had hardly any light and the light it did have was blue. so it was bit like photoing smurfs.
jane went out with a friend in the evening and the girls had a chocolate fondue

jane had a very busy day today doing lots of shopping and meeting up with chums.
kezia’s parents evening went well and she seems to be getting on excellently.
esther had a violin lesson, trombone lesson, voice lesson and some group rehearsal.
i had work and i’ve stopped doing my band photography for Cheese On Toast (my choice) so might find someone else to shoot for instead at some point.
