the girls went to the Luge this morning then i’m not sure what this afternoon.

meanwhile i sorted out buying kezia’s new viola and sending the old one back, and also buying a case for the new viola.

i’m also trying to post my old bass guitar back to my old housemate from my university days so i took that to a place where they wrap things in preparation for posting.  i can pick that up tomorrow.

after all that running around i whizzed in to town just in time to catch an excellent band making a joyous sound.   then this afternoon i took pearl for a walk and edited photos plus a few more things ticked off my to do list!

 

 

jane and the girls headed down to Rotorua via Matamata.  They went to the agrodome for some agro and then had a wander round Rotorua.  Their accommodation is nice apparently!

 

 

meanwhile i tidied my desk (massive job!) then went to an Elvis festival.  This evening i took pearl for a walk and saw the most decorated grave ever.

Bethells Beach this morning, shopping this afternoon for the ladies and a takapuna wander with ice-creams for us all.  Then this evening there was a home made version of The Apprentice with some ice cream ideas made by sarah and esther going head to head.  Sarah won!

 

sarah lost a jandal in the depth of the sand.  there was much looking amongst the very hot sand, but with no luck.  so a small part of Sarah will remain in the dunes !

i forgot to post this earlier in the week of jane and binky diving in to the pool

jane, binky, sarah and i went to Tiritiri Matangi island today

lovely day for it.

meanwhile esther wandered round shopping malls on her own as she had no friends and kezia wandered round shopping malls with an actual friend

there were even penguins in the nesting boxes

when we got back to the mainland sarah and jane did a quick skip to the loos then we drove round for a very quick look at Shakespear park.

i was accused of not appearing in photos so here i am.

auckland zoo for today.  kezia and jane left early to choose a viola with kezia’s viola teacher.

today we went in to town – lots of walking, sky tower, eating.  weather got worse as the day went on (making it quite humid) but did not stop pool entry
