red sky this morning which was definitely a warning as the heavy rains moved across the city mid afternoon
girls had school/music
jane had day 2 of her course and is back to normal tomorrow
i did quite a lot of admin this evening including getting my cameras ready in case i’m photoing tomorrow night.
school for all. buses really busy as it’s ‘mad march’ when all the university students go back
jane was on a course
esther had concert band, kezia had choir (i think)
kate and Jim lived outside our house last night then came in to look out at the world
then they headed off and we went to church
this afternoon i edited lots of my mairangi bay photos then i headed back for some more mairangi bay photoing at 5pm before meeting the Irvines and the De Kwants at 6pm for dinner on the beach
kezia had both her choir and chamber orchestra all day practices which were happening at the same time so she missed all the break times and was exhausted (also due to lack of sleep last night as she was staying at a friend’s house watching films all night)
esther just had chamber orchesdtra
jane and i got to Mairangi beach just after 6.30 so i could photo the sunrise and she could walk pearl
we left at around 8 so we could come home so i could take kezia to her music camp and then i went straight back to mairangi bay for another couple of hours photoing.
our friends kate and jim from our old UK church arrived late morning and after lunch we took them to muriwai beach. they are now asleep on our driveway (in a camper van)
esther went to watch some of her choir friends in a barber shop competition (singing not cutting)
i’ll add some photos to this post tomorrow. long day. quite tired
work, school for most people. Kezia had an all day choir rehearsal as their camp this year is just a day thing over three days instead of going away
after work i went to mairangi bay to take some photos for a paid photo thing i’m doing over the next few weekends
i met up with some of the people who are organising the photo day i’m running in a month’s time to work out logistics as it’s a street photography walking thing.

i was feeling a bit stomachy so worked from home today which was fine as it was mostly writing documents. i did have to pop out to buy a headset for my computer in the morning though as mine broke and i needed it to make work calls. good excuse to get the car out though 
girls all had school. jane and esther went to the mall after school for the second fitting of her ball dress which is going to look great apparently.

i’ve got another paid photos assignment which is fun. photoing at a couple of local beaches for a property website.

picked up our new car this afternoon. we have it for two months. it only had 724km on the clock and has a new car smell. i suspect that will be gone in two months time when we have to give it back!
at my team meeting today my colleagues in wellington appeared in the video wearing Kevin Spacey masks
i bought some new shoes laces at lunchtime – just in time by the state of the old ones
girls had school, kezia went to a friend’s house after school, esther had some music practice of some sort and we spent a bit of the evening driving round moving cars about between carparks so we could end up with all three at home. Idea is to have jane’s car and the little fella in the garage at night. we’ll see
school, work. i met up with buzz at lunchtime
