school, various musical things, work, darkness, dodging very heavy rain showers

kezia spent all day at her friend pete’s house

the rest of us went to church and did domesticy things.  esther went to the mall in the afternoon.

that’s it really.

esther had a good time at the ball

jane had her hair done – kezia cut mine in the afternoon

jane and esther walked pearl.  i went for a walk at long bay

this evening jane and i went to our friends’ house for dinner with the gang

rather a strange day! esther’s ball, photos of our prime minister, photos of a man dressed as an evil spiderman, work, school

the girls had chamber orchestra practice this morning which meant an early start after a very late night babysitting for kezia

i popped out at lunch to photo someone dressed in a costume which attracted much attention and was good fun (lunchtime photos shoot might be worth exploring further actually)

so unknown to us, while we were playing photos with fake guns and swords, the prime minister was just round the corner chatting to a chap by the waterfront.  there was a policeman about but he wasn’t too worried!   luckily i’d left my fancy dressed model by the time i saw Bill English our Prime Minister and got some photos without being arrested!

Esther and her friends got their ball makeup and hair done at our house after school.  i got home a little bit early this evening so i wouldn’t miss everyone all being dressed up nicely for the ball:

school, work, drama evening for esther (watching as an arts prefect), kezia babysitting betwen 5pm and 11.30pm, jane and i walked pearl down by the waterfront before we picked up esther

i picked up pearl from doggy daycare in the graffiti car for the first time which went ok.  she just fits in the boot

work, school, after school musics.  i’m on post duty this week in the office which is exciting as i have to walk down lots of steps to the post room twice a day.

i was up early to do sound at church.  then we did lots of house work/chores before some new church friends came round with their young boys (who went in the pool and ate cake)

jane and esther took pearl on a wild walk.  not sure what that meant but she’s (pearl) been limping this afternoon.

various chores and this afternoon we all went in to town to watch our favourite afro-beat band and also got to see some chinese dancing

then kezia and i dropped esther off in takapuna to walk a friend’s dog (with the friend) while jane met up for a coffee with Debbie.
