i ran my street photography course in the morning.  i had 3 people pay to come along and the guy who runs the business also came along to give me some feedback

i then rushed home, had a quick snooze then went out to be an assistant photographer on a band photo shoot.  Rest of the evening was spent editing photos

jane did millions of house/garden things and met up with Debbie

esther did school work, music practice

kezia spent the day with her friend from up the road and they walked from Takapuna to Mairangi Bay which took them a couple of hours i think.  Kezia stayed over at her friend’s house

i saw a man who blended in with an ATM machine

school and work really.  i met up with the chap who runs the photo tours company i’m photoing with this afternoon and i have two people booked on the course for Saturday so that’s good!

weather is crisp and cold and beautiful!

i had my flu jab this morning.  exciting

ant-arctic blasts of winds are making it quite chilly in New Zealand at the moment

girls had separate music things after school

hans zimmer people might want to buy one of my photos for their website.  we’ll see

my car is currently in christchurch and will probably take three weeks to get to auckland as all the car moving lorries are being used to move the massive backlog of cars stuck in the ports. combo of broken ports and broken roads thanks to recent earthquakes

church this morning then i spent the rest of the day editing photos.  the official hans zimmer live twitter/instagram account want to use one of my photos (for free unfortunately) !

esther went to the pop up globe again and got wet standing in the roofless section

I bought a car, we all did chores

kezia had a hair cut

in the evening we went out to Hans Zimmer who is a film score creator.  He’s done some amazing films and it was quite amazing

i was photoing and managed to get two tickets for the show so jane and i could both go

and, as luck would have it, i also won two tickets through work, so the girls could come along too

their seats were quite near the front at the side so they could really watch the musicians close up

when we were reviewing the pictures we spotted the girls new violin teacher was one of the local musicians on the stage alongside the touring band!

jane had school (no kids yet).  kezia sat at home

esther met her friends and had a three hour big band workshop this evening

kezia had a church meeting

i went to the doctors this morning for an annual checkup thing and i need to ride an exercise bike every day to stop my knee from hurting.  and i’ve got some tablets which i have to stop taking if i turn yellow!

after the doctors i took the car back to the garage which is a shame.  while i was at the garage they were VERY keen to sell me a new car and offered me a massive discount.  we’ll have to see about that.

i met with Buzz at lunchtime and took his picture for his linkedin profile.  rest of the day was work, and it took two hours to get home using public transport.

back to work (feels like two mondays this week)

jane had school too, but no kids yet

not sure what the girls did but they are all meeting up in town this evening to see joseph and his amazing raincoat
