kezia had her school market day.  she was the ceo of a stall selling confectionary.  sounds like they did some fancy dynamic pricing when they noticed some of their products were selling so well they put the price up.  And then put the price up again.  and then dropped them again towards the end of the hour.  clever.  she’ll find out how much her team made tomorrow.

kezia also had swimming after school but finished early as she was so tired/eaten too many cakes all day

school for jane, work for me

esther has had a day studying at home for exams tomorrow

esther had band practice this morning so joined me on the bus

school for everyone and work for me

i went for a quick walk at lunchtime to take a few photos

this evening kezia has been busy making brownies and preparing things for her school market day tomorrow

and jane has gone out to her book club

our roof is still leaking so that’s a shame.  still, at least we know about it.  john came round this afternoon to look and he’ll be back on the roof the next sunny day we get to see what’s going on.

in other news, Kezia got in to Westlake school which is excellent

church this morning. girls did creche. 

jane spent the day doing school work.

kezia and i sorted out some of her photos, and then she had a friend over this afternoon

kezia and her friend went to the mall to buy some things for a market day on Thursday and spent the rest of the time doing homework

jane spent much of the day being busy.  she went for a run, then met with debbie, did some shopping, took kezia shopping etc

i did various technology mendings and decided to risk my luck with a sunset

it never came, but i didn’t get too wet

which was lucky as there were plenty of rain clouds about

Jane came in to town this morning to arrange a German trip so we met up for a coffee in hotel lobby like grown ups.

I also had a meeting with a chap who manages our UK pensions so that we grown up too.

Kezia had a church youth thing which three of her non church friends came to.

And I had a photo salon meeting to talk about next year’s competition.

My computer is in the middle of transferring 2TB of photos to a new hard drive so can be disturbed, hence me writing this on my phone.

esther had some mock exams today.  that’s exciting.

this week has been particularly busy at work for me.  that’s good, but a bit exhausting, especially while still being a bit ill.  hey ho.

and this evening our house got inspected to see if it’s suitable for a student to come and be a homestay.

this is kezia’s image for the photo club this evening. unfortunately it only got acceptance as the judge didn’t think it met her leading line criteria (although she did say it was a great image)

my image got highly commended, but she though it would have been better if i’d done less photoshopping

esther had a study day today for her mock exams

and everyone else had work/school.  i’m really busy at work which is good.   although wasn’t helped by my computer breaking, but i managed to get it mended eventually

i woke up with a really sore throat this morning so took the day of sick to sleep it off.  i dragged myself out of my sick bed to go and learn about taking photos of the supermoon, but instead got rained on, despite the weather looking promising.   perhaps the super moon’s super power is invisibility?
