esther got in to the Westlake Symphony Orchestra as Violin 2. nice work!
kezia had her church youth group and a friend came along
and jane has been given an extra french class next year which is great too
i had work and went for a walk at lunch and saw some contestants queuing for x-factor

I had a whistle stop trip to Wellington today. Or wowington as it seems to have named itself.
I got a bit of a later flight which was good except I had to travel to the airport at rush hour so ended up getting up the usual time.
My meeting went well though!
You can use your smart phone on the plane these days (in airplane mode), including take off and landing which is handy as the flight between auckland and wellington is so short it was mostly all take off or landing!
So I’m writing get this and editing some photos whilst in the air and hopefully it all sync up nicely when I land.

school/work
kezia had her first choir practice for the choir she’s in next year which was quite daunting. and esther had a tennis lesson
lunch in the garden today in classic all-in-a-line style so no-one missed the view

kezia came back from her sleep over mid afternoon and there was some sunbathing as the temperature has been up to 23degrees today. at last!

esther had tennis this morning and won both her matches
kezia had her last swimming competition this afternoon. she got a personal best which was a great way to end
afterwards we took her to a friend’s house for a sleep over
esther went to her friend’s party which involved watching a film.
jane and i went out for dinner this evening when both girls were (temporarily) out at the same time.
work for all. i walked the long way to work. jane had a busy day at school. kezia had her last swimming lesson and we all watched some telly
jane had school, met with her friend pearl, did housework, reports, school work, ferrying children around.
i went to the NZ music awards and took some photos
my best photos came from the red carpet outside, rather than the dark inside venue
i met with buzz for lunch and he took me to see the view from the 29th floor of his office which was very fancy.
busy day for all. i just got home from the NZ music awards (had a VIP ticket again this year) and am rather tired so i’ll do a proper update with pictures tomorrow.

i popped down to see a friend’s photo exhibit being set up at lunchtime as i couldn’t make it this evening as jane had her book club here and so i did the evening’s driving for the girls.
kezia had violin (then burgers with me) then we picked up esther from concert band

jane spent much of the day tidying for her ladies group which is meeting tomorrow night
and i managed to pop out for a windy walk at lunchtime
