esther and anni went to school early for music/homework/coffee drinking. 

esther didn’t have choir after school but did have her concert band rehearsal

kezia had violin and anni had her first windsurfing lesson which she really enjoyed.

jane and i crossed paths for ten minutes before she zoomed off to her book club and i went off to pick up kezia

i didn’t take many pictures today as i went straight from the bus to my church men’s group, but i did get to sit on the front seat of the double decker bus this evening on the way home!

jane and my wedding anniversary today.  19 years!

it was also pancake day.  hoorah.

esther had her violin lesson and symphony sectional rehearsal with her trombone.

i’ve been having more Excel fun at work which i love so that’s nice

and on the way to the bus this evening i walked by a friend from church who was just in the process of dropping his kindle in the street. ooops

Auckland is starting to get ready for the arrival of a boat race so there’s all sorts of construction of temporary housing going on which is making for interesting walks to work

kezia had an orchestra section rehearsal before school, a singing lesson during school and her choir after school.  quite a busy day

esther had tennis in the rain after school

anni went swimming after school and we all ended up back at the house (with pearl) in time for dinner

church this morning then kezia, anni and i went to watch esther in her doctor who symphonic spectacular which was excellent

can you spot anni and kezia giving me the thumbs up across the arena?  (we were in different sections as esther got two free tickets and i bought mine yesterday)

on the way back to the car we walked past the World Cricket

esther got some merchandise (poster, t-shirts, drink bottle) and a nice pass

jane spent valentine’s day at school while i took these girls to a Chinese festival (where Kezia ate a German sausage)

i mended my computer by adding another 8GB of RAM and changing various bits of software

everyone did their homework this morning before we headed in to town for the Chinese festival

esther has been at the Vector arena all day for a rehearsal.  we dropped her off at school at 1pm and we have to pick her up at 11 this evening. 

the performance is tomorrow and me and the other two girls are going while jane has a day at home doing school prep.  she has all the fun

then this evening jane, kezia, anni, pearl and I went for a walk on the new board walk in town.  we walked from the bridge down to the Silo park (where the silo cinema was about to begin) and back

it was dark by the time we got home

early start for Anni as she caught the bus with me so she could read three chapters  of a tricky english book before school

poor kezia had a migraine at school this morning i had to leaveorkk earlky and pick her up

Here I am again typing from my tablet which does seem to be working.

Kez and i  were  back home at lunchtime and she says already feeling better. She slept all afternoon and was fine bre again by this evening.

Sowe went out  for her belated birthday dinner at a Japanese restaurant.

Typing on my tablet isn’t going great diet so i’m gone to stop and hope my computer is working again to more oh.  Blumming autocorrupt

the girls all had good days at school i think

esther got a badge in assembly for being in the top 15% of her age group academically last year

kezia had her orchestra after school and anni went swimming in the pool where kezia used to have swimming lessons

esther has a 3 hour choir practice tonight in preparation for the Dr Who performance on Sunday

and jane has been really busy with school and home stuff too, and went out to a church meeting this evening

i’d normally say ‘roll on the weekend’ but jane has a teacher training day and esther has an all day choir practice!

oh, and i forgot to mention that i saw the flash of a meteorite last night.  but no one else in the house did.  here’s the news story with some video

busy day for all

jane had a full day at school then a work meeting and a meet the teacher evening so didn’t get home until after 9pm

esther had concert band sectional rehearsal before school, then a choir rehearsal after school followed by big band rehearsal

kezia had violin practice and church youth group

anni was at school 8-5pm today doing first aid training which sounded pretty gruesome at parts so i requested she didn’t give me too many details.  she also came to photo club this evening

i had a couple of big meetings this morning and my before-work church-men’s group.  then there was various ferrying arounds this evening as the normal amazing taxi driver was at school before eventually making it to photo club

i got Highly Commended for this image because the judge didn’t like bright lifeless skies!

an incredibly busy day for everyone today (except me)

In addition to school esther had orchestra and violin with her new teacher at school

Anni played an inline skates hockey match which she enjoyed and will go back next week, but an hour later so she’s not playing with short boys! 

She also had tennis and signed up for wind surfing

esther played cricket in her geography lesson for some reason which she found amusing

jane had a good day as well i think.   

i walked to Britomart after work as that worked better with the timing for picking up esther.  there were a couple of cruise ships in the harbour and lots of people milling around in the sunshine having a nice time.

i’m sure i’ve forgotten something, but that will do for today!

i went for a walk at lunchtime to buy some coloured pens to do draw some diagrams but then ended up using powerpoint instead.

And Anni signed up for lots of sports things at school
