esther had her last mock exams then went to the beach where it was quite empty apparently (probably because it’s so cold and wet at the moment).. the rest of us had school/work
esther’s orchestra had a recording session this afternoon so hopefully we’ll get to hear some of that soon.

and we got a new pool cover
jane sang at church this morning and did a great job
i spent a lot of the day editing the band photos from last night
and this afternoon went for a walk on long bay with sam and his girlfriend who has just arrived from the UK before they go on a road trip round new zealand
jane did school work all day and went for a walk with pearl and her friend belinda this afternoon in the rain
esther did revision all day

jane went for a long run today and spent the rest of the day doing school work
sam was in town again today so we went out to matakana market, then the nearby pottery place before going to an open home artists mansion which is on the market for the same price as our house and then to mahurangi bay
esther had her hair cut this afternoon
this evening i was photoing at a concert. it was Luna supported by Fazerdaze
jane went to see war room this evening with some church chums and said it was brilliant
and here’s an article about a new zealand composer in the paper. he’s one of esther’s music teacher and he teaches the composition class.

kezia went out to a church youth thing this evening
jane went out for a meal with her chums
and my friend sam came round for fish and chips
and i got a new lens for photoing in dark places which i shall try out tomorrow evening. it’s also good for taking pictures of sunsets reflecting in the pool
esther had a maths exam today. it was a proper one which counts for things and was quite hard apparently.
a day of medical things for me thanks to a life insurance application through work! started with blood tests at 7am and then nearly two hours at the doctors having various thing prodded, grabbed and measured.
kezia and jane had school
esther had tennis this evening and jane had a church band practice
and we’ve booked a week’s holiday in january on great barrier island which is a four hour car ferry journey from auckland
it was 21 degrees today which is nice and warm. going cold again soon though. bumpy spring weather.
and New Zealand might get a tsunami over night due to the earth quake in Chile. Chances are it’ll not impact Auckland though due to the harbour. we’ll stay out of the sea just in case.
busy days at school/work. jane had book club, esther concert band, kezia church youth
i left home at 6.30am and got back at 9.30pm having spent the morning in the office in auckland and the afternoon in wellington
everyone here had school
there was a peaceful protest in wellington when i was there
i worked from home today as i had to pop over to takapuna at lunchtime
everyone else had school
esther had two three hour exams
and then when everyone was home again we went for a sunset walk on the beach
it was dark by the time we got back to the car
