work/school for all. kezia had something after school so i met her at the bus station
after dinner i dropped her off at church youth and drove on to the photo club where i won photo of the night for my image of the girl above and highly commended for the image below
esther had big band after school
jane has got a new job for next year at the school she’s already at. she’s going to be a homeroom teacher for year 8 as well as doing some french. so that’s excellent and proves she’s as brilliant as we’ve been telling her she is!
work for me. various admins (insurance will cover my camera lens but excess is $750! d’oh) and then a good meeting about the photo exhibition this evening
the girls only had school this morning as it was a half day so spent the afternoon first at home then in the university library studying (i think)
i went to armageddon
esther went to the university library to revise
jane went for a long run then spent the day doing school work
kezia went out with her youth leader and spent the day wandering round furniture shops
it’s labour day today
this chap is jake the snake. a famous wrestler. you can tell he keeps himself in tip top shape
esther and jane took pearl out for a walk this evening as i’ve been sorting out photos for the next exhibition sorting session tomorrow evening

i did the podcast then went out photoing for the exhibition
jane collected esther from her party. she’d had a great time
in the evening we went out for meal
i asked the waitress what the different cuts of steak was but she didn’t know so she asked the barman
he didn’t know either so she trundled off to the kitchen to find out
when she came back she started “Rump is the bum meat nearest to the surface”. it went down hill from there!

i was up just after 5am to get to takapuna to take pictures of the sunrise. as it happens the sun didn’t turn up and i dropped my camera after an hour so wasn’t the best morning ever

my car went in for a WOF/service and i had one meeting i had to go to in Albany which was handy

kezia was a model for something at school and esther had big band so after esther finished the two of us went out for burgers before we collected kez
jane had book club
i was at an APEC conference all day which was full on international types. then after work we had our second meeting for the exhibition. this time it involved a whiteboard

and i heard via a colleague that there was a citizenship ceremony on tonight so i went along to grab some photos as potentials for the exhibition. and esther cooked some cakes.
