esther had her last exam today so is now on holiday until february or something!
kezia had school then her orchestra and is enjoying being the 5th best viola player in the whole school in the top orchestra!
jane had school
i had a spectacularly busy day at work
this evening esther had her tennis lesson, kezia and i watched a doctor who episode and then everyone watched the apprentice
and our pool has finally stopped being green which is nice.
kezia heard she is 3rd desk with her viola in her orchestra, and she has got in to extension social studies
and esther is sitting on the front row in the second violins in her orchestra
i worked from home today which gave me a couple of extra hours in bed.
esther went in to school for her new choir and kezia stayed at school to do her viola practice
it was photo club this evening and my top image got honours and the one at the bottom got acceptance
pearl was on the telly this evening as her doggy day care was on a TV programme. jane saw it and said pearl was mucking about in the cinema area of doggy day care!
and here are the five images which got accepted in to Serbian competition
i was out shooting Tame Impala last night who are a big Australian band. Apparently 12 photographers put in requests to shoot and only 4 were accepted so that’s pretty cool! i’m not sure whether it was the quality of my photos or the website i shoot for, but either way it’s good. it was one of those gigs where you get escorted in 5 minutes before the band starts then escorted out as soon as the three songs are finished. good fun

everyone else had school including esther who went in for an exam
i also heard i’d got five images in an exhibition in Serbia, so if you in the area pop in and have a look!
my boss and one of my colleagues were up in auckland today and insisted we went to have a look at the exhibition at lunchtime which was nice
we also got to see a container ship called ‘brilliant ace’
jane and kezia had school. then kezia had a choir practice until 8.30pm
esther had a day of revising

esther and i went to church then i did the podcast. esther spent the rest of the day at the library
jane and kezia came back exhausted
and i went to town to do some photoing at the Queen’s Wharf Block Party where a few bands were playing
i went to the zoo this morning
it was raining, but a good opportunity to try my new lenses out. i was pleased with how it went
esther meanwhile was in the library all day
on the way back from the zoo i heard there was a free concert happening in town for a radio station i listen to so i diverted myself there to take some photos

jane and esther went for a breakfast at Altura then drove down to the Coromandel where they are staying at a friend’s bach for the evening

school for kez and jane, work for me, an exam for esther in the afternoon

i worked from home today. pearl tried to win me over by laughing at my jokes and pulling cute faces
jane had some more plays at school
esther spent the day in the university library again
i went for a walk while esther was having her tennis lesson this evening

kezia went to her youth group this evening
and while she was there i went to the new devonport wharf to try out my new lenses and tripod which were all great
i got my insurance lenses today. i had lunch with an ex work colleague and had my first christmas drinks
jane had school. kezia had school
esther had a study day at home

kezia has a music assessment this evening which jane took her to
i was meant to be going out but decided not to as i’m still not feeling great (i slept 7pm to 5am yesterday)
