it was the last tennis match of the year for esther and she won both her singles and doubles match tonight.  yay!

 

i left home for work later than normal today as i’d deliberately let myself sleep in a bit following a late night photo editing

kezia had school

jane had a community day with school and ended up doing backbreaking work shifting gravel to make a footpath in Wenderholm park

really busy day at work for me.  jane had school. kezia was off school sick with a cold or something.  she was ok by the evening

i went out and shot a band in the evening (photos to follow)

no pictures from today.  just work, school. 

esther had the day at home of course

in the evening jane had her book club xmas meal

kezia had youth

work/school/korean television watching

i went to wellington today for a couple of meetings. the meetings didn’t go great but the weather was good

jane had school

esther had her tennis rematch after the rain stopped play on friday.  she lost then walked the 1 hour 40 minutes back home

kezia had school

and i saw famous new zealand musician Dave Dobbyn at Wellington Airport

kezia had her christmas by the lake concert this evening where her choir sang with the auckland symphony orchestra and various primary schools

we were too late to buy tickets, but i arrived what i thought was 10 minutes early to pick up kez and they let me in anyway.  i was actually 40 minute early so that was handy!

and thanks to facebook i knew one of my work colleagues was there with her family so i used their facebook photos to work out where they were sitting and sat with them on their picnic blanket

we all had church this morning

then this afternoon esther and i went in to town to watch the santa parade

meanwhile jane did report proof reading

this morning we went shopping for garden furniture. jane had coffee with debbie this afternoon

the rest of the day was spent doing chores

this evening we went to janine’s for amy’s birthday party

some school kids came in to work and did a haka at lunchtime

jane had school then was managing esther’s tennis competition which eventually got rained off so will have to be rescheduled

i had another busy day at work

kezia went to a friend’s house for a sleep over
