just school and work for most people
jane spent the day at the zoo with her class
everyone mostly avoided the rain
work and school for all
kezia was very tired and had to go to the school nurse then a physico because she has whip lash from her 4×4 adventuring (which also involved the campers having to pack up their tents at 1 in the morning as their tents were blowing away in a gale and the sand from the dunes was blowing in!
esther had music practices after school and everyone is very tired
kezia is still away. it was a really windy and rainy night so hopefully she didn’t blow away wherever she was camping with her friends!
esther and i went to church this morning while jane carried on her report writing
rest of the day has been domesticy stuff and jane went out later afternoon to meet up with some chums in advance of a wedding we’re going to next Friday
i’ve spent the afternoon preparing my presentation for the auckland photo society on thursday
kezia should be back this evening
no new photos today so here are some i didn’t post from yesterday
i photoed a band on saturday afternoon in a record shop
before that i went to an art fair in auckland then had a quick wander around the streets and found this second hand bookshop
esther stayed at home and slept late after all her korean night excitements
jane spent the morning getting her hair done and the rest of the day was report writing
kezia was picked up at 6am and taken up north for a dangerous church youth camp
esther did her performances at the korean night tonight and they all went very nicely. i grabbed this picture from facebook. jane and i didn’t go to the evening
meanwhile at work we had a ‘wear what you want to be’ day but only a few people dressed up. all were blokes interestingly. i went as myself when i was 19 years old
otherwise it was a normal work day
i took a last look at my photo down on the watefront this morning between showers
this evening jane and i went to a restaurant (tides) and kezia went to watch the korean night
so it turned out my pictures are still on the fence down at Queen’s Wharf but they’ll be gone by the end of next week in time for the Queen’s Birthday
six months in that spot is amazing!
i’ll miss going down to see them on my way to work
nice break in the showers this morning for the walk to work. i met up with buzz for lunch
jane and the girls had school
esther has a korean night dress rehearsal this evening which seems to be running late
kezia has a little music concert at school which she didn’t want to go to but which is not quite coordinating timewise with esther so jane and me will both be going out to collect them separately
here’s a grass look carpet over the real grass on the way to my bus stop
i spent the day editing photos from last night. i ended up taking nearly a thousand so it took a while to sort and edit.
kezia went in to town with a friend and watched the captain america movie which she found a bit boring
this afternoon kezia and i went to the supermarket
esther has been on her camp all day (as far as i know!)
and jane has marked lots of reports
here’s some more unpublished photos from last night.
